• Dogs must be leashed at all times in Pelham parks, except within the fenced dog park area. Leashes shouldn't exceed 7 feet in length.
• Dogs should be separated by size: small dogs under 35 pounds have their designated area, while larger dogs weighing 35 pounds or more have a separate space.
• It's important to clean up after your dog immediately. Please use the designated containers or trash cans to maintain the park's cleanliness.
• Always supervise your dog closely to prevent any harm to other dogs, park property, or wildlife. All dogs must be licensed under New York State law and wear their license tags during park visits.
• As a dog owner, you're fully responsible for your dog's behavior and must adhere to all park rules. Failure to comply may result in fines ranging from $100 to $200.

Please note that police dogs and certified service dogs are allowed to run off-leash in any area of the park.
