The Valdez dog park is the Shana Anderson Dog Park, also known locally as the Community Dog Park, operated by City of Valdez Parks and Recreation in Valdez, Alaska.

Planning Your Visit to the Valdez Dog Park
Valdez receives some of the heaviest snowfall of any town in the United States, regularly measured in hundreds of inches over a winter. The practical dog park season is short, and conditions between roughly November and April depend entirely on what has been cleared.
Summer is the opposite. Long daylight makes evening visits easy, and the surrounding mountains make it a striking place to stand while a dog runs.
Rain is frequent year round, so grass here stays soft.
