Overview
Wildcatters Dog Park is a City of Brea facility at 3450 E Santa Fe Road, on the corner of Valencia Avenue in Brea, California.
The park is split by weight, with a third of an acre for small dogs under 25lb and a much larger area, close to the size of a football field, for dogs over 25lb.
Both areas are on grass turf, with benches, picnic tables, double entry gates, dog waste cleanup stations and drinking fountains that have dog bowls attached.
The park was built by Shea Homes as part of the Blackstone housing development and handed on as a community facility for the whole city.

Planning Your Visit to Wildcatters Dog Park
Hours run 7AM to dusk, and the park closes every Thursday from 7AM until noon for maintenance. A Thursday morning visit will find the gates shut.
The size difference between the two sides is significant. Large dogs get genuine running room here, which is rare in a built up part of Orange County.
Drinking fountains with attached dog bowls save carrying a bowl, though bringing water is still sensible in an inland Southern California summer.
