Welch Dog Park is a fenced off-leash area inside Welch Park in San Jose, California, near Tully Road.
It opened in March 2021 as the tenth dog park in the city's network.
Entry is through a double gate and the space is divided into separate large and small dog areas. There is a drinking fountain for dogs and benches for owners.
The surface is a wood fibre and loose material mix rather than grass, which drains better and cuts down mud but heats up in direct summer sun.
