Overview

Rowayton Dog Park is a fenced off-leash area at 36 McKinley St in the Rowayton area of Norwalk, Connecticut, and it is open only to registered members and their dogs.

Registration is required before you can use the park. It runs annually from 1 July to 30 June and must be renewed each year.

There is a dedicated section for small dogs of 25lb or less, alongside the main area, plus a water fountain, shaded seating and a double gated entrance.

If you are visiting the area rather than living in it, sort registration before you travel. Turning up without it means not getting in.

Rules and Access at Rowayton Dog Park

Dogs over six months old must hold a town licence and current rabies tags.

All dogs using the park must be spayed or neutered. That is a firm condition rather than a preference, and it rules out intact dogs entirely.

Recorded hours run 7AM to 8PM on weekdays and 8AM to 8PM at weekends.
