The dog park at Veterans Park is a Lexington Parks and Recreation facility at 650 Southpoint Drive in Lexington, Kentucky.
The off-leash area is divided into two paddocks, so dogs can be separated by size or temperament rather than sharing one space.
Two new shade structures were installed in early 2026, which addressed the park's main weakness through a Kentucky summer.
Veterans Park itself covers close to 240 acres and is one of the largest parks in the city.

Planning Your Visit to the Veterans Park Dog Park
The wider park adds six baseball and softball fields, an 18 hole disc golf course, two playgrounds, hiking and mountain biking trails, paved walking paths and four shelters, along with monuments to veterans.
A 3.5 mile mountain bike trail runs through the park and welcomes walkers and joggers with dogs on the lead, so there is a proper walk available either side of off-leash time.
Because the site hosts ball games and disc golf, parking is busiest at weekends and on summer evenings.
