Saco Dog Park is on School Street in Saco, Maine, adjacent to Pepperell Park, with parking on site.
It is fully fenced and split into two, with one park for dogs from 0 to 10lb and a larger one for all dogs above 10lb.
A 10lb split is much lower than the usual 25 or 30lb line, so a mid sized dog goes in the large park here even if it would qualify as small elsewhere.
There is a water fountain, seating, shaded spots and a double gated entrance.

Rules and Access at Saco Dog Park
Dogs must be on the lead while entering and exiting vehicles at the park.
Inside the enclosure dogs may be off the lead but must remain under voice command.
Maine winters mean snow clearance determines how usable the park is between December and March, whatever the posted hours say.
Saco Parks and Recreation is based at the Saco Community Center, 75 Franklin Street, and can be reached on 207-283-3139.
