Overview
Zero New Washington Dog Park is a City of Somerville facility at New Washington Street in Somerville, Massachusetts.
The park is fully fenced with a double gated entrance, seating and shaded areas.
It has an agility training area with tunnels and climbing elements, two drinking fountains with water dishes, and dog bag dispensers.
There is also a spray area for cleaning and cooling dogs, which is a genuinely useful feature through a humid Boston summer.
Hours, amenities and rating come from this park’s Google listing, and are checked against what visitors report in their own reviews. Listing last updated 19 Sep 2026. We record what those sources say; we do not inspect parks in person.

Planning Your Visit to Zero New Washington Dog Park
Hours run 6AM to 9PM, seven days a week.
Free street parking is available nearby, and the 86 and 91 buses stop at Cambridge Street at Parker Street, so a visit does not need a car.
Two fountains rather than one makes a real difference in a park this busy, since it removes the queue at the water.
Somerville is one of the most densely populated cities in the country, so expect the park to be busy at commuting hours and quieter mid morning.
