St. Joseph Dog Park is a fenced off-leash park at 1350 Pearl St in Benton Harbor, Michigan, with separate sides for large and small dogs.

What to Expect at St. Joseph Dog Park
Jennifer Chase covers the layout: "In the large dog side there is tons of run space for the dogs. There are also a couple of picnic benches and sitting benches. There is a small dog side wh[ich]."
Tom Sandomenico keeps it simple: "Beautiful park. Plenty of shade. Very pleasant. The dogs loved it too."
Chris Ebner gives the parking detail that matters on a busy day: "Limited parking near the dog park. There is maybe 8 parking spaces, 3 of them are handicapped and at least one more 5 minute parking only."
The mud is the recurring theme. A reviewer posting as action jackson calls it "low ground poorly drained" and says it can be "closer to Kiwanis mud park" in winter and spring. Thomas Goodrich went after storms, got muddy and did not mind, but warns "the water fountain was not working so bring your own water."
Laura jill Wirfs found an early visit worked well, arriving at 8:30 and having the place to herself until regulars appeared around nine.
