Overview
WAG Farms Dog Park is a 14 acre fully fenced off-leash park at 9475 Glendenning Rd in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
Fourteen acres puts it well beyond the usual neighbourhood enclosure, and the ground is varied rather than a single flat field, taking in woodland, grassland and a pond.
There are designated sections for big and small dogs, a double gated entrance, water and shaded seating.
The park is part of the Cottage Grove municipal park system but is operated and maintained largely by the WAG Farms Dog Park Association, a volunteer group.

Planning Your Visit to WAG Farms Dog Park
A site this size and this wooded is a different proposition from a fenced square. Dogs can get well out of sight, so recall matters more here than at a small park.
The pond is a draw for dogs that like water and a consideration for owners who would rather they stayed dry.
Because volunteers do much of the upkeep, conditions reflect the season and recent working parties. Minnesota winters are long, and the wooded sections hold snow well into spring.
