Overview

Vdara Dog Park is a private dog relief area at the Vdara hotel, 2600 W Harmon Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is not a public city dog park, and access is really intended for hotel guests.

The space is small. Reviewers measure it at roughly 20 by 50 feet, laid with artificial turf and enclosed by a six foot fence. It was expanded and relandscaped in 2024 to take in the adjoining garden area.

Facilities are geared to short visits: waste bag stations, bins, water and a clean, well kept surface. It is open 24 hours.

Treat it as a convenient relief and stretch stop on the Strip rather than a place to exercise a large or high-energy dog.

What to Expect at Vdara Dog Park

Set your expectations by the size. CoreyGemme is precise about it: "Should be called dog relief area. It is 20 by 50. Very small areas of fake grass. Fence is 6 feet high. Only reason to give it three stars is because it is advertised as dog park. As a dog relief area I would give it 4 and a half or five stars, it is clean."

Nick Chang saw the upgrade happen: "Vdara renovated and expanded the dog park area to include the entire Memorial Park garden area. MGM placed new doggy stations in the park. Now there is a smaller artificial turf area and a very large and landscaped dog park."

Chris wood takes the pragmatic view: "This is a very small dog park. But when in Vegas, you take what you can get. This worked just fine for relieving my dog."

Two practical notes. Will warns that it "is really super inaccessible if walking from elsewhere other than the Vdara," and David King, who walked over from another hotel, judged it "Good size for a pocket dog not anything that needs exercise." If your dog needs a real run, plan a separate trip off the Strip.
