The Sgt. Vincent J. Olivia Mini Dog Park is a City of Bayonne facility in New Jersey, one of a pair of dog parks located behind the Pony League and Little League fields in Collins Park.
The Mini park is the small dog side, and it is unusually well equipped.
It has a synthetic turf carpet with its own irrigation system, a pet drinking fountain and a pet waste station.
Play equipment includes a doggie crawl, rookie weave posts, a small hoop jump, stepping paws and a paws grooming table.

The grooming table is the detail that sets this apart. Very few municipal dog parks provide one, and it makes a real difference for owners of small dogs who need a raised surface to check paws or brush out.
Irrigated synthetic turf is a considered choice. It stays clean and level, and the irrigation keeps the surface temperature down, which plain artificial turf does not manage in July.
Entry is free, waste bags are provided and dog toys are allowed.
A separate larger dog area sits alongside within the same Collins Park complex.
