Overview
St. Mary's Dog Run is an NYC Parks facility at 387 Jackson Ave in St. Mary's Park, in the Mott Haven area of the Bronx.
The run has two sections and mixes gravel, paved and natural surfaces rather than using a single material throughout.
There are obstacles in the form of faux logs and boulders, benches for owners and natural shade from mature trees.
A water station sits in the middle area past the first gate, with both a bottle filler and a dog bowl fountain.

Planning Your Visit to St. Mary's Dog Run
The dog run was expanded and rebuilt as part of a major renovation of St. Mary's Park under the city's Anchor Parks programme, which added a water fountain, sports lighting, an ADA accessible seating area, new fencing and landscaping.
That investment shows. The surfaces, shade and water put it ahead of most dog runs in the borough.
NYC Parks dog runs are open for off-leash use during park hours, and dogs must be leashed everywhere else in the park outside the designated hours.
The park is well served by public transport, which makes this one of the easier runs in the South Bronx to reach without a car.
