Overview

Tri-City Bark Park is at 18825 Sheldon Rd in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and is exactly what the name suggests: a joint project between three neighbouring cities.

Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights opened it together in June 2022, with Middleburg Heights establishing a dedicated fund for it by ordinance the same year.

The park is fully fenced with designated spaces for big and small dogs, a water fountain, a seating area and a double gated entrance.

Parking and entry are both free.

Planning Your Visit to Tri-City Bark Park

Because three cities share the cost and the oversight, this park draws from a much larger catchment than a single town park would. Expect it to be busier at weekends than its size suggests.

A volunteer group, Friends of the Tri-City Bark Park, supports the site alongside the three municipalities.

Being a recent build, the fencing, gates and surfacing are in better condition than at many longer established parks in the area.

Northern Ohio winters are wet, so expect soft ground from late autumn through spring.
