What to Expect at Wando Woods Dog Park

Kate Miz describes the contents accurately: "It is a sweet little neighborhood dog park. It has 2 benches to sit, a tube and a platform for dogs to play as well as poopy bags. But you have to bring your own water."

Charleston Tours / Al Ray makes the same point and explains the appeal of the quiet: "The only reason I do not give this five stars is because there is no water source for thirsty pups. I go there all the time and frankly there are rarely people there."

David Hahn calls it "Definitely one of the smallest doggo parks we have visited. Clean, well maintained, and some shady areas," while warning about small biting insects.

Size is the limiting factor for bigger dogs. Amanda M reports that her German Shepherd "got bored pretty quickly. Mostly because he did not have a lot of room to run." J Payne, visiting from out of town, hoped for grass and found leaves and sticks needing clearing.
