Overview
Moccasin Creek Off Leash Dog Park is one of the City of Aberdeen's off-leash areas, in southeast Aberdeen, South Dakota.
It sits within the Moccasin Creek Recreation Area between the softball fields and the soccer fields, near the corner of 12th Avenue SE and South Cochrane Street.
The enclosure is secure and fully fenced for off-leash exercise and play.
There is a hose on site that you can use to fill a water bowl, which is a simple but genuinely useful provision on a hot prairie afternoon.

Planning Your Visit to Moccasin Creek Off Leash Dog Park
This park is seasonal. Aberdeen opens its dog parks at Moccasin Creek, Manor Park and the Nature Area from spring through autumn as weather conditions permit, so a winter trip is likely to find the gates shut.
Because the dog park sits between two sets of playing fields, the surrounding car parking fills up when softball or soccer fixtures are on. Arriving outside game times makes for a much easier visit.
Bring your own bowl for the hose, and waste bags, as neither is recorded as being supplied.
