West Jordan Off-Leash Dog Park is a 4.5 acre fenced park at New Bingham Highway in West Jordan, Utah.
It is divided into three spaces rather than the usual two: one area for small dogs and two separate areas for larger dogs.
Two large dog areas is a genuinely useful arrangement. It means one can be rested or closed for maintenance while the other stays open, and it splits the crowd on a busy evening.
There are water spigots, waste bags, benches, shaded seating and a double gated entrance.

The park sits next to the West Jordan Animal Shelter and Ron Wood Park, so the wider site has plenty of parking and space.
Salt Lake Valley summers are hot and dry, and afternoon ground temperatures make morning and evening the sensible windows from June through August.
Winter brings inversions and cold air settling in the valley, which is worth knowing if your dog struggles with air quality.
